Shaoxing Longshan Rose Garden

This project is located in the southern part of Shangyu City, covering a site area of 195,407 square meters with a plot ratio of 0.87. The primary housing types are traditional Chinese courtyard residences ranging from 200 to 300 square meters, as well as French-style ground-floor homes spanning 400 to 500 square meters. The project has developed considerable expertise in designing compact Chinese-style courtyard homes, ensuring that, while meeting functional requirements, the architectural form avoids simple monotony and repetition by incorporating rhythmic variations. Through the strategic use of large expanses of negative space and meticulously crafted details, the design evokes the distinctive Eastern aesthetic characteristic of traditional Chinese residential compounds.
