Ningbo Yunqi Peach Blossom Paradise

The site is located on the northern shore of Dongqian Lake in the southeastern part of Ningbo City, within the area covered by Ningbo’s under-construction rail transit network. At the southernmost station of Line 4—the Dongqianhu Depot—lies the Ningbo Scenic Area of Dongqian Lake to the south. Taking integrated development into comprehensive consideration, the design strives to create a unique landscape viewing angle and generous site frontage, while adhering to urban design principles in overall layout, architectural form, and color scheme to effectively mitigate the depot’s specific impact on the site. The plan ensures the visual integrity of the surrounding urban blocks and facilitates seamless above- and below-ground connectivity among the covered area, ground-level developments, and the vehicle base.
