Yangzhou Canal Project

This site is located within the control plan area of the southeastern district of Yangzhou City, bounded to the east by Binhe West Road, to the south by Shijing Road, to the west by Yunhe South Road, and to the north by a planned road. Through an in-depth analysis of the project site and in accordance with the planning guidelines, locational conditions, and overarching functional objectives, the design seeks to explore a natural expression of architecture that is attuned to the specific contextual conditions of the site. The demonstration zone features a modern, minimalist, and refined façade design that enhances the building’s sense of architectural layering at a human-scale. Moreover, the design harmonizes with the adjacent eastern park and the Beijing–Hangzhou Grand Canal, thereby articulating a cohesive urban space that improves visual permeability across the entire area and enriches the layered quality of the urban interface.
