The Life Pavilion project is located in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. Like the “yurt” of nomadic peoples, the pavilion is designed to be disassembled, relocated, and reassembled. To meet the requirements for minimum interior space and modular curtain-wall units, the floor plan ultimately adopts a basic structural module of 5 m × 5 m. Both the structural beams and columns are standardized and detachable, facilitating construction operations. The exterior façade features a single-layer, demountable unitized glass curtain wall, while the flooring, floor slabs, and roof are all constructed using standardized components.
