Located in Hangzhou, the project embraces “Lin Xi Aesthetics” as its guiding design philosophy, seamlessly integrating nature with architectural space to create a living experience where “returning home feels like stepping into a painting, and every step reveals a new delight.”

The design offers a fresh reinterpretation of the architectural “window” motif, employing framed vistas to seamlessly integrate the building with its surrounding landscape and dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. Through a network of connecting corridors and garden-design techniques such as “winding paths leading to secluded beauty” and “revealing the grand through the small,” the staggered courtyard spaces are imbued with a sense of order, transforming each step into a passage through an unending scroll-like panorama—inviting residents to savor the ultimate pleasure of strolling through a living garden as they return home. Meanwhile, ultra-narrow-framed picture frames are used to create large-scale, fluid, seamless screen-like interfaces, while warm-toned wood-look aluminum panels are thoughtfully incorporated into the building’s framing to craft a cozy, inviting residence that radiates the warmth of everyday life. The design returns to the essence of living: in the water courtyard, floating glass boxes evoke a distinctive distant vista, reimagining modern waterfront living. With every frame revealing a new scene and every view steeped in poetic charm, tradition and modernity converge within a compact space to unlock boundless delight.
