Hangzhou’s Verdant Retreat by the River’s Gleaming Waters

The project is located in the Eastern New City district of Hangzhou’s Shangcheng District, with the World Cultural Heritage site of the Beijing–Hangzhou Grand Canal just 300 meters to the south and Hangzhou East Railway Station only 400 meters to the east. From the outset, the residential community’s main entrance was designated on the eastern side, placing it directly opposite Hangzhou East Railway Station—a major urban transportation hub. In addition to showcasing the new face of the eastern residential area, the client also expressed a design brief that emphasizes understated elegance while infusing cultural depth.
