Located in the eastern part of Hangzhou, Dongsha Lake, with its expansive waterways and scenic resources, has created a rare urban waterfront panorama. Taking this as an opportunity, the design seeks to forge a dynamic connection between the residential community and the city, while initiating a profound dialogue between contemporary living spaces and traditional architectural aesthetics. Grounded in the demands of high-quality, modern living, and within the framework of today’s “good home,” we reinterpret the core spirit of “refined minimalism” in Chinese traditional aesthetics—through the careful shaping of space, precise control of proportion, and meticulous attention to detail—to deliver a residential experience that seamlessly integrates modern functionality with Eastern cultural resonance.
