Located in the core urban area of Lishui, this project sits at the cradle of the city’s 4,000-year-old Chuzhou civilization, where Lishui’s past, present, and future are all rooted in this profound cultural heritage. The design is deeply attuned to the site, embracing the planning concept of “One Axis, Two Rings, Five Gardens”: a centrally symmetrical layout that unfolds in an orderly, sequential manner. All residential buildings are interconnected via a 4.5-meter-high, fully elevated ground floor, creating a seamless network of covered walkways throughout the community—ensuring worry-free access regardless of weather. As residents move through the space, the scenery constantly shifts, offering a multi-dimensional living experience.
The building’s façade embraces a modern, minimalist design aesthetic—sophisticated taupe tones are punctuated by clean, upright lines, while the overhanging eaves embody a “fringe” aesthetic. Drawing on the Superflat design philosophy, the treatment softens any sense of visual heaviness, and extensive use of glass and crisp, straight lines maximizes the window-to-wall ratio. This not only delivers sweeping, panoramic views but also conveys a pure, luminous international sensibility and a dynamic, transparent high-end texture, blurring the boundaries between architecture and nature and allowing space to dissolve into the natural environment.
As another design highlight, the corner commercial spaces ingeniously leverage the natural elevation differences and the western greenbelt to further accentuate the building’s secluded character, creating a private residential enclave nestled in nature amidst the bustling urban core.
