The designers, attuned to the local context, drew inspiration from Chengdu’s distinctive urban fabric of bustling streets and alleyways, eschewing the conventional straight-through circulation patterns in favor of a sinuous, meandering flow. By skillfully weaving this intricate path into the design, they imbued the singular central courtyard with rich layers and depth, leveraging elevation changes to create a winding, multi-layered exhibition route. This diverse, interwoven, and circuitous circulation seamlessly bridges the gradual transitions between close-up, mid-range, and distant views, allowing the sensation of returning home as if on vacation to emerge organically through the seamless interplay of architecture, landscape, and space. At Chengdu Jintanghai, local culture and the vibrant lifestyle of the “Rong City” are thoughtfully integrated into the functional layout, creating boundless connections that unfold in a spatial symphony of introduction, development, climax, and resolution—thus conjuring opulent living scenes and an effortlessly serene, resort-like experience.
