Dongmingshan·Senyu is nestled in a pristine forest within Dongmingshan Forest Park, an area characterized by dense metasequoia and moso bamboo groves. The guesthouse repurposes existing wooden structures on site, transforming them into three distinct types of standalone timber cabins and a central reception building. Grounded in a sense of “locality,” the design adheres to an approach of ecological authenticity and minimal intervention, aiming to create a harmonious coexistence between the built environment and the surrounding mountain forest.
